Immigration Evaluations

Immigration Evaluations – FAQ

Typically we see clients who are working with an immigration attorney. Your attorney will advise you if a psychological evaluation is needed to support a case for yourself or a loved one.

We begin with an initial phone call to learn about the referral from your attorney. We then schedule an appointment and secure the services of an interpreter if needed. On the day of the appointment we meet for two to three hours. The appointment includes a detailed interview and paper and pencil questionnaires. We then write a report that goes to your attorney and becomes part of the case file, which will eventually be seen in court.

Our standard fee for a client who speaks fluent English is $1,150. For cases in which we need to obtain the services of an interpreter the fee is $1,250. This fee includes up to two meetings if necessary and a report that goes to your attorney. A $100 deposit is required to reserve the scheduled evaluation time.

The end product of our evaluation is a report that goes to your attorney and will become part of the case file. This will be seen by the court in your immigration case.
