Fitness for Duty Evaluations

Fitness for Duty Evaluations – FAQ

Typically your recruiter or a supervisor will tell you if you need a pre-enlistment mental health evaluation.

We typically conduct a brief phone call to learn about you and if possible, we will get the name of your recruiter or supervisor to learn more about the organization’s concerns. We will then schedule a time to meet with you and conduct a detailed interview, as well as performance-based testing and paper and pencil questionnaires. We also occasionally use computer-based testing, depending on the concerns that need to be addressed.

We charge our standard $200 hourly fee for pre-employment and fitness for duty exams. These typically range between $400 and $800. As with all of our assessments we require a $100 deposit to hold the scheduled time.

The end product is a report that goes to your recruiter or supervisor to help determine your suitability for entering the military or public service.

We provide pre-employment psychological evaluations as well as fitness for duty evaluations. We specialize in helping those who are in the process of enlisting in the armed forces. We use assessments to address specific concerns unique to the client’s situation as well as assessments that have been shown to be useful for assessing one’s ability to function well in the military, police, fire, or other public-service occupations.
