Adult ADHD Evaluations
ADHD is often undiagnosed in adults, leading to challenges with focus, organization, task completion, and relationships. At Breakforth, we provide comprehensive ADHD assessments that include a clinical interview, psychological testing, and input from relevant sources to ensure an accurate and thorough evaluation.

Immigration Evaluations
For nearly a decade, Breakforth has specialized in immigration-related evaluations, helping hundreds of clients and families navigate complex legal processes. From hardship to relief evaluations, we collaborate closely with legal teams to deliver thorough, expert assessments that support the best outcomes for those involved.

Parental Capacity Evaluations
We conduct court-ordered Parental Capacity Evaluations to provide clear, objective insights into a parent’s ability to safely and effectively care for their child.

Fitness for Duty Assessments
We offer pre-employment evaluations with a focus on individuals pursuing military enlistment, using targeted assessments to address unique concerns and evaluate readiness for success in military service.

Our psychologists’ hourly rate for assessment is $200 per hour. In order to help our clients, flat fees are charged for many of our assessments.
Total fees vary depending on the type of assessment required.
For immigration evaluations we charge a flat fee of $1,150 for evaluations that do not require an interpreter and $1,250 when an interpreter is required. Additional fees may be charged for evaluations that require online administration of testing, such as when the client resides in a distant state.
For Adult ADHD assessments we charge a flat fee of $1,200. Additional fees may be charged if additional testing is required beyond our standard testing.
For fitness for duty evaluations we charge our usual hourly rate. For pre-enlistment evaluations for the military, the total cost is usually between $400-$800.
All of the above exams require a minimum deposit of $100 to hold the time required for these exams.
Parental capacity evaluations are sometimes paid by the jurisdiction requesting the evaluation. We do not typically conduct private parental custody evaluations.
Some clients notice they struggle with maintaining attention, completing tasks, staying organized, or sitting still. If you have tried to manage these symptoms but nothing you have tried works, it may be worth having an ADHD evaluation. Other clients are referred by other providers such as primary health providers, psychiatric medication providers, or mental health counselors.
We begin with an initial interview, conducted by phone or occasionally by video. We will then schedule a three-hour block of time to conduct a detailed clinical interview and have you complete a standard set of Adult ADHD testing, which includes paper and pencil questionnaires as well as computer-based testing.
Typically we see clients who are working with an immigration attorney. Your attorney will advise you if a psychological evaluation is needed to support a case for yourself or a loved one.
We begin with an initial phone call to learn about the referral from your attorney. We then schedule an appointment and secure the services of an interpreter if needed. On the day of the appointment we meet for two to three hours. The appointment includes a detailed interview and paper and pencil questionnaires. We then write a report that goes to your attorney and becomes part of the case file, which will eventually be seen in court.
Typically your recruiter or a supervisor will tell you if you need a pre-enlistment mental health evaluation.
We typically conduct a brief phone call to learn about you and if possible, we will get the name of your recruiter or supervisor to learn more about the organization’s concerns. We will then schedule a time to meet with you and conduct a detailed interview, as well as performance-based testing and paper and pencil questionnaires. We also occasionally use computer-based testing, depending on the concerns that need to be addressed.
The court will order a parental capacity evaluation in some cases involving child custody, return to home, or other child and family-related situations.
After an initial consultation and the gathering of necessary releases to speak to relevant persons involved in your case, we will schedule a block of time to meet with you for a detailed interview and testing. These evaluations typically require a full day. The end result of the evaluation is a report that goes to the court.
